Annette McCaughtry, CEO of Paper To Pearls Organizing Solutions, LLC
Annette began organizing professionally in 2000 after being encouraged by a dear friend (after helping her organize her office) to consider becoming a Professional Organizer. She was fortunate to be featured on a local San Antonio morning TV show, hosted by Tanji Patton, by discussing the importance of getting organized with a variety of key products. In 2015 she launched “Paper To Pearls Organizing Solutions, LLC” and has 2 excellent part time assistants.
She holds a BA and an MFA in Costume Design and has worked extensively in Film and TV Costume Departments since 1983 as Supervisor, Set Costumer, Seamstress and Costume Assistant. You can view her complete film costuming resume on IMDB.com under the name of Annette Hoffman McCaughtry. Prior to entering the film industry, she was the Costume Designer for many Shakespeare theatrical productions as well as Children’s Theater productions for 10 years.
Annette has held a variety of delightful positions throughout her career years following college. She worked at Dallas Baptist University as an Adjunct Professor teaching Introduction to Fine Arts as well as a special class for adult students returning to school to finish their degree. She also served as an Academic Counsellor and an Office Manager at DBU. In other arenas she has served as an Administrative Assistant for a large church, organizing large events and group trips. Earlier, she worked as an Employment Manager and a Payroll Manager at a large department store.
Throughout her various career positions, the common thread has been organizing. No matter what she did, she was the most fulfilled when she had something to organize, whether it be files, and file drawer, a rack of clothing or a time management flow chart for an office. Problem solving and streamlining by using organizational techniques is what makes Annette tick.
